It was a BIG week for Monster Mondays! Crossed a bunch of stuff off the ol' Bucket List. The strip above and next week's strip are part of an exhibition being held in California celebrating Hellboy's 20th Anniversary. Among the artists exhibiting at Hero Complex Gallery were C.F.Payne, Gris Grimly, Mahfood and the creator himself Mr. Mignola. When the invitation came from curator and former student Chogrin I couldn't help but seize the opportunity to draw my 'Thank You' to Mike and Hellboy for all their help through some pretty tough times. If you are like me comics are not only a part of your childhood but a constant and continued source of inspiration and entertainment. Hellboy has always been at the top of that list for me and it was honor to pay tribute to the man and his creation and thank them for all the years of good art and good times. Here's to 20 more and again a ginormaous Thank You goes out to everyone involved, especially Mike Mignola, Darkhorse comics, Hero Complex Gallery and Chogrin for putting this together.
Be sure to check out next week's comic for Part 02 and if you want a sneak peek you can check it out here, where the original artwork is available for purchase.
