You just need to know two things about this particular comic strip:
1.) I overheard the bit about 'Twizzlers and Red Bull' at UArts, where I teach. Two students were discussing how they stayed up to finish work on deadline. One of the many perks to being an instructor at an art school. Personally, I'm a coffee and chocolate dude myself.
2.) In the two middle panels the chipmunk is speaking Ewok.
Y'know, 'cause I'm a nerd.
